A Danette Story, By Her Sister, Dana
Earlier today I received a message that the coroner and Tribal Police were called to Buffalo Bridge. I immediately sent out texts to confirm. I learned that a likely female was recovered from the river bed.
It’s too early to know if this is Danette. I believe it is. Today was our dad’s birthday and I believe he brought her home.
Our family is forever thankful for all the love and support during these tragic times.
I hope to be able to put my baby sister to rest soon. If this person is not my sister, she’s someone’s loved one.
Continued prayers for our missing and murdered loved ones and their families.
